Back in May, we started our summer road trip series by visiting all of our offices around the country. We started out East and made our way West and now here we are, at the end of the summer, ending our tour at the Arrowhead and ACM HQ in downtown San Diego.
What better way to spend these dog days of summer than actually looking at cute pups. (And other pets.) Add to that the fact that this Friday is National Dog Day, so we thought, why not give everyone at work a chance to show off their pets in a friendly competition where all you win is bragging rights.
We know our coworkers have gobs of wisdom to share, so we're providing a HotSpot for what's hot and what's not on the literary and cinema circuit. Anyone within our companies can submit a review - good or bad - of a book, movie or show and we'll post your thoughts on this blog page. Updates will be made regularly so check back every month.
Our next stop on our summer road trip is Carlsbad, CA, “The Village by the Sea.” Home to 112 ACM and Arrowhead employees, Carlsbad is a beachside city with a laidback vibe. Here you’ll find great schools, good surfing, plenty of golf courses and golf club manufacturers – and Legoland. What you won’t find, hopefully, is a resurgence of the wildfires that hit the area just two years ago, burning 26,000 acres.
Our newest office is in San Francisco, at 564 Market Street, Suite 225, in the Financial District. Located between One Bush Plaza (the Crown-Zellerbach building) and Crocker Galleria (a great place to spend your lunch time – and your paycheck!), the office is right across the street from a BART station, in case any of the three employees don’t feel like fighting traffic that day.
Celebrating completion of their first year is our new office in Roseville, a suburb east of Sacramento. Home to 11 employees of Arrowhead and ACM, this office is multi-functional and multi-tasking, from Commercial Auto and Workers’ Compensation sales to ACM’s claims in the personal property and work comp divisions.
We’ve put the pedal to the metal as our summer-long road trip continues. This month we’re heading west where we will visit our team of 40+ in Denver, CO. This is home to multiple programs that began the rebranding process on July 1, changing their name from OnPoint Underwriting to Arrowhead. Our summer road trip continues and has taken us out West where we are visiting with the seven folks who work in our Phoenix office running our Manufactured Housing Program.
