One thing is for certain at our company – we all sit a lot. It can’t be helped. After all, we’re office workers. But there are steps each of us can do throughout the day to give our bodies a break from being immobile. And since this topic isn’t the most exciting to write or read about, we found videos prepared by other organizations who found a way to entertain while educating. But before we roll tape, we want to make sure that everyone is aware that you can schedule an ergo evaluation with HR to see how best to set up your work station to maximize your time while on your gluteus maximus.
To set up an ergo evaluation, just let your supervisor know you'd like to have one. They'll put in your request with HR and then they will set up a date and time to meet with you to review things like your chair height, monitor distance and foot position.
