Marketing Ops | Licensing
The Marketing Operations team is responsible for facilitating all Arrowhead producer contracts. In addition, the department facilitates mass communications, producer management and works closely with all profit centers to leverage Arrowhead's agency force for new and existing product distribution opportunities. Our licensing and operational team keeps all our entity and individual licenses up-to-date and performs regulatory research as needed for any of the operating divisions.

It's tax time - route 1099 calls from producers & vendors like a champ

Think about it: more than 11,000 producers and vendors will be receiving 1099 federal tax forms from us in just over a week. That's 11,000 potential phone calls, saying this producer changed her last name, or that one sold their book of business, or moved their office, or either lost or just didn't receive their 1099. It's enough to make you ignore the phone, right?

“Our job is to make the whole licensing procedure run seamlessly,” said Wendy Castelo, vice president of Marketing Ops. “Occasionally a manager will forget that we can provide this service for them, and instead they waste a lot of time setting their employee up with training, exams, fingerprinting, etc.” The licensing team led by Carolyn Marshall can handle it much more quickly and efficiently in house.
