Meet Our New Business Development Leader 

Meet Alonzo Dunn, our new business development leader for central and Southeast states. Alonzo replaces Vivian Carballo-Brown, who’s accepted a new role as our Illinois lead field underwriter for Core Commercial.

Alonzo’s 29 years of insurance and financial services experience includes 21 years at Allstate as operations and sales manager and exclusive agent. As an exclusive agent, he built a profitable scratch agency to more than $4 million in annualized premium.  In his successful sales leadership role with Farmers, he helped build their Georgia agency distribution system and was responsible for 238 agents, 38 employees and $140 million in annualized revenue.  His exceptional balance of corporate responsibility and entrepreneur mindset makes him an excellent business development leader. 

Married for 26 years to Pam, they have three boys ages 16-21. In his spare time, Alonzo enjoys playing golf, traveling, watching college football and listening to jazz.


First Core Commercial Agency Council Met in Chicago 

A special thank you to our inaugural Core Commercial Agency Council members. Our  inaugural meeting was held in Chicago at the end of June, with a Cubs game at historic Wrigley Field and meetings downtown. The Council is comprised of agents from coast-to-coast, from individual operator shops to large multi-location agencies and agency clusters. The feedback was fantastic, and in the coming weeks we will share outcomes of their suggestions to improve our responsiveness, survey results, and much more.
