Meet Kim Zarifis New Central Region underwriting leader
Unlike ALEX, Kim is a real person! In her new role she manages Core Commercial underwriting in IL, WI, MN, IN, OH, MI, KY, NE, SD and ND. In her tenured career at Travelers, she spent 10 years focusing on small commercial business, working with independent agents. Most recently she led inside sales, supporting sales executives and key agency partners along the Eastern Seaboard.
She added, “But more important, there was an overwhelming need for exceptional service including responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible carrier contacts. The speed at which we operate today is faster than ever before; customers have more choices than ever before. Helping our producers win more customers will help drive up revenues. That’s a win-win!”
Kim has “walked a mile in agents’ shoes,” starting her insurance career by cold-calling for a local agency. A music lover, she’s played the sax for years and has started piano lessons.
