In this special edition of The Arrow, we want to take a minute to say how much we appreciate our Core Commercial producers and the steps you’re taking to help service your insureds – in many cases, your neighbors and ours. Along with you, we’re working from home. Fully operational, we’re here to help anyway we can.
Together we’re creating flexible solutions to assist small business owners through these unprecedented and challenging times. Together we'll make tomorrow the best it can be.
Mid-term exposure adjustment
We realize that many of your customers’ businesses are temporarily closing or slowing down due to COVID-19. Core Commercial is offering voluntary exposure change modifications based on the insured’s estimate of the economic impact over their full policy term. (This would include the actual exposure units already expended for the policy return, plus those reductions expected for the remainder of the policy term.)
This form can be used to adjust ratable factors (example: payroll, sales, etc.) to more accurately reflect the insured's current situation. In most cases this should help them see some premium relief.
Restaurants Hired and Non-Owned Autos update to meet changing needs
Restaurants are currently one of the hardest-hit businesses and are quickly changing and adapting to a new normal to service their customers. Many restaurants are selling prepared meals, curbside pickup and delivery through delivery services or their own drivers. To meet our insureds’ changing needs, we are offering to add coverage for Hired and Non-Owned. Send any request for coverage to CoreAmendments@ArrowheadGRP.com.

Claims Business Interruption
As you know, most property insurance includes direct loss or time element business interruption coverages, including civil authority and dependent property endorsements. Property coverage is designed to cover losses resulting from the direct physical damage or physical loss to the scheduled property.
Generally, this coverage does not apply to a loss involving a virus or bacteria. Every situation is unique and should be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
If you believe that your client has experienced a claim or loss, we recommend that you report the claim to QBE NewLossQBE@us.qbe.com, or call 1-844-723-2524 to allow a claims adjuster to make an evaluation.
